Claffey made it clear that he is currently prioritizing the A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms series above everything else:

“I’m not trying to push for anything at all at the minute. I really want to just get these, however many of these stories that we do. I just want to do them justice and focus on them.”

He acknowledged that starring in the high-profile Game of Thrones spin-off has opened doors and placed him “in the conversation” for other projects, describing it as “an incredibly privileged opportunity.” However, he has deliberately chosen not to pursue new roles right now.

“I haven’t really tried to go out and do those things and just focus on doing my job first.”

Staying grounded during season 2
Claffey’s comments come while the cast and crew are in the middle of filming season 2. His decision to stay fully focused on bringing Dunk’s story to life reflects a dedicated mindset, putting the quality of the current project ahead of career moves.
