Marshals aired the first of four episodes that are planned to feature Riley Green on Sunday (Apr. 19), and his addition to the cast has already made a big impression.

They’re also not ruling out him becoming a more regular fixture on the show.

In an interview with USA Today, Green left the door open for more appearances from his character Garrett, saying, “There’s the possibility that he could be back.”

Who Does Riley Green Play On Marshals?

Riley Green plays Garrett, an old friend and former Navy SEAL teammate of Luke Grimes’ character Kayce Dutton.

To USA Today, Green describes Garrett as “really kind of a damaged guy.” Onscreen, he experiences an intense post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) episode early on after the audience meets him.

Green and Garrett have some things in common, too. They both hail from Alabama, and both are musicians. He’ll strum a guitar and sing his new song “My Way” in a forthcoming scene around a campfire.

Will Riley Green Act More In the Future?

Aside from teasing more to come from Garrett on Marshals, Green isn’t offering any clues about what will happen to his character after the end of the four-episode arc.

But he did say that his debut on the Yellowstone franchise series has produced some interest in more potential acting gigs. He also said he’d gotten a call from the Screen Actors Guild (SAG-AFTRA) about a show he was once on in the past.

Green has appeared on TV here and there, including a winning stint on the CMT reality show Redneck Island in 2016.

“Someone called me from the SAG office trying to give me a check for some show that I was on one time, and they wanted my Social Security number,” Green joked to USA Today. “I wouldn’t give it to them over the phone. They said, ‘We need to validate it’s you.’ I said, ‘Hell, you called me.'”
