What We Know About Riley Green’s Character on ‘Marshals’
Kayce, Grimes’ character from Yellowstone, is also an ex Navy SEAl. Per the outlet, he was a buddy of Garrett’s. They were both serving in Afghanistan. Garrett shows up in Montana for a visit to reconnect with his old chum, and to reset and recharge.

Grimes shared with the outlet, “He’s been through a lot. He comes back into (Kayce’s) life, who’s trying to help him out. It’s a tough character.”

episode is captioned as “an exclusive first look.” Garrett is apparently looking for some relief from military experiences that still haunt him. He shows up unexpectedly as a passenger on a bus and encounters Kayce. The two men edgily renew acquaintances. Kayce says to Garrett, “After all this time, you just figured you’d show up?” “Felt like seeing how my old teammate was doing,” Garrett replies. “I’m a Marshal now,” Kayce tells him. “Still in the fight.”

Another character, Cal, adds, “Man shows up because life is good? I know a damaged man when I see one.”

Garrett confides in a different peek, “Music’s my only escape. It helps me forget about the past.” We also see him singing a somber ballad called “My Way” around a campfire. That will reportedly be on the April 26 episode. It won’t be a duet with Kayce, however. According to the outlet, Luke Grimes explained, “It would be really bizarre for people to see Kayce pull out a guitar and be like, ‘I’ve been hiding this skill the whole time.'” But Riley Green will be acting along with Grimes. He said, “We do a lot of scenes together.”
